How unprofessional. If he just does it recreationally, I don’t see why he couldn’t have waited until later tonight. (And if it’s worse than that, I’m sad. Dude is actually talented, even if I want to shake him sometimes.)

I’m guessing he considers this recreational. He’s not alone. There are many artists that use before performances or studio sessions or whatever. It’s the reason I always give Lohan the side-eye when she is out in a club hanging with djs. Because coke goes hand in hand with that scene. Obviously, personal experience colors my impressions, but I am pretty confident that this kind of behavior is considered the norm.

I am telling you with 100% confidence… Jamie Foxx was high as I have ever seen anyone during the Disney Kid’s Concert at the Inauguration this year. He was 2 hours late for call time, we held up production almost an hour for him to show up and when he did… with an entourage of 15 who didn’t have tickets or passes or a way in the damn door… he was high as all get out. He then went on stage and MC’d a concert in front of the First Lady, the Obama daughters, 22 thousand people and a Disney Channel audience. It was disgraceful. He held his shit together on stage, but off he was a disaster. They ended up cutting about 2/3 of what he was supposed to do because he was such a wreck.

Also, his daughter and her three friends were there. Classy.
